About
More Than a Name
At 3:16 Behavioral Health & Wellness, our name reflects values that shape the way we seek to serve others: faith, hope, and healing.
We believe every person's story matters.
Every individual who enters counseling brings experiences, relationships, culture, values, challenges, and strengths that deserve to be understood with dignity and respect.
Our goal is to provide a professional therapeutic environment where clients can feel heard, explore life's challenges, and work toward meaningful change.
We are committed to ethical, compassionate, culturally responsive mental health counseling.
Our Christian foundation informs our commitment to serving others with dignity and compassion. It does not determine who is welcome here.
Everyone is welcome.
Faith integration is available for clients who request it, while counseling without religious integration is equally respected and available.

AJ provides compassionate, culturally responsive, client-centered mental health counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. His approach begins with listening — with genuine curiosity about the person in front of him and the life they are living.
AJ's approach recognizes the importance of understanding clients within the context of their relationships, culture, values, life experiences, and individual strengths.
Counseling is offered in English and Spanish, so clients can speak in the language in which they feel most at home.
When requested by clients, faith and spirituality may also be incorporated appropriately into the counseling process.
I meet my clients where they are and am blessed and privileged to walk side-by-side with each individual in whatever step of life they may find themselves in.
